Derby Girls Lace Up Their Skates An article about the league’s first few months! A piece of history, covering the beginnings of the league and the search for a place to skate. Reading this brings back fond memories of our first practices skating together and getting ready for our first bout. ”I am extremely nervous about the bout. We aren’t used to skating in front of people and it is a really big thing to plan,” admits Little Orphan-Maker Annie.
